Resources and Support

The Knights Academic Center consists of two classrooms at CHS (A131 and A115) designed to support students academically. We offer peer and adult tutors to help students in any subject. We also offer a quiet space for studying and the use of the computers and printers. Our hours are 7:15-2:20pm.  The academic center is a warm, welcoming environment for students to learn, grow, and thrive.

Students having difficulty with schoolwork or those who need modifications in compliance with their I.E.P. may receive help during the school day in the Century Learning Center. Students will be helped individually or in small groups.

Flex Mod is an Academic and Career Focus time during the school day that provides students with an opportunity to enrich their complete learning experience.

Peer facilitators are students who receive formal training to help other peers with social issues that most teenagers face at some point during high school. Often, these issues make it hard to focus on learning until properly addressed. Peer Facilitators meet with students to help them handle these issues in a mature fashion and refocus their energies more productively.
